MANHATTAN

Effective  March 16, Promenade Sports Bar in Manhattan is no longer under OK Kosher Supervision. They will remain open 7 days a week and there will be signs on the door notifying everyone of the change. Please be aware. They thank all of their loyal patrons over the years. 
 
ROAST Homestyle Chicken closed for business on March 9th in preparation for a new concept to take its place in the coming months. With this renovation and fresh concept, they look forward to continuing serving the community, evolving for the future. For questions or comments please contact: info@theroastnyc.com.
 

BROOKLYN


Grill Station Moves Into Marine Park 
Taking over the former Olympic Pita on Flatlands Avenue, Grill Station is now open with a limited menu and will be increasing to full operations after Pesach. Located at: 3502 Flatlands Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11234.

A new pizza shop and dairy cafe is opening in Borough Park. they will be serving  salad bar, sushi, falafel, bagels, knishes, ice cream and more.Coming soon to Fort Hamilton Parkway between 44th & 45th Streets.

The TV's have been taken down and the management says they are re-branding the former sports bar as a fine dining establishment and will debut their new menu after Pesach.

Teaneck Doghouse Now Under OU Supervision

BALTIMORE

Baltimore is getting a new restaurant from Serengeti chef Daniel Neumann. Serving a rotating assortment of dishes to be served in a cafeteria style, where the patrons will choose their meal components as they move down the line. The eatery will seat about 40, bringing something fresh, healthy and always different downtown. Opening after Pesach in the  ground-floor space at 201 N. Charles Street.
 

CLEVELAND

Congratulations to Malka Rosenberg and Unger's Kosher Bakery on 40 years. What an accomplishment! CHICAGO

FLORIDA

A new pareve eatery in North Miami Beach from the owners of Foozo and Dixie BBQ, now open next door to the main Foozo location, is Bol Health Kitchen.
"Bol"refers to the variety of healthy bowls they serve like: Poke Bowls, Acai Bowls, Grain Bowls, Salad Bowls, Pitaya Cocada, as well as serving moothies, health shots and phenomenally delicious vegan and/or gluten free desserts and they make their own granola and crackers out of the excess pulp from the juicing too! Chai Wok is opening a second location in Surfside. The new restaurant in the former Wok Star and B&H Pizza locations will feature the same delicious cuisine as their North Miami location, offering counter service with seating for about 20. Scheduled to open in mid April, about a week after Pesach.
 
Ramona's Cafe Opening in Boca
Boca will be welcoming Ramona's Cafe to the neighborhood after Pesach. The new eatery will serve pizza and dairy fare and will be under the supervision of the ORB. Located at: 19785 Hampton Drive, Boca Raton, Florida 33434.
 

ATLANTA

The Italian bistro will be a full service restaurant, as well as takeout and delivery for dishes ranging from pizzas and pastas, salads and fish to sandwiches and paninis. Formaggio Mio will open in the space formerly occupied by the dairy restaurant Broadway Cafe. DALLAS

From the Owner of Texas Kosher BBQ Comes Kosher Palate
Scheduled to open mid-May in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Kosher Palate will host full service catering in their party room, offsite catering, sit-down deli, bakery, grocery and of course BBQ. Kosher Palate will also host a full kosher grocery with items not always found in the DFW area. We will have fresh checked lettuce and herbs under the guidelines of Dallas Kosher as well as meats and cholov yisroel dairy products. Kosher Palate will be located on the NW corner of Beltline and Coit Roads in North Dallas.
 

CALIFORNIA

A new chalav stam dairy cafe opened in downtown LA. Asher's soft opening hours are 7 AM - 2:30 PM. Located at: 945 South Boyle Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90023.
 
Cafe Florentine, located in the space that was occupied by Shawarma Dadon which closed last year, offers a variety of breakfast items, sandwiches, paninis, pasta, and fresh fish entrées, as well as specialty coffee drinks and desserts. Chez Benny is Back in Business
Chez Benny Montreal closed its doors after 20 years in late August. They have now secured a new location on Queen Mary Road and will be re-opening after the holidays. We look forward to seeing the new place.
