RESTAURANT OPENINGS & CLOSINGS:

After a long 4 months of renovation and anticipation, The New Prime Grill which is now located at 25 West 56th St.(between 5th & 6th Avenues) is slated to open this Tuesday.
Here are some of the highlights:
* The restaurant will feature a Herzog wine room, available for private events. Room comes with Herzog wine sommelier
* Chef David Kolotkin, executive chef of Prime Hospitality Group will be the executive chef of Prime Grill once again
* Double the amount of seats than previous location on 49th with 2 floors including balcony seating overlooking the bar
* Interestingly, the restaurant will not have a name on the front, but just an American and Israeli flag
* Menu will include old favorites and new items to come next week. Meanwhile, click here

GOTHAM BURGER OPENS TODAY!
With a location already in Teaneck, Gotham Burger officially opens their Manhattan location today at 726 Amsterdam Ave. (between 95th and 96th). The restaurant that once housed Meat Me, is a quasi burger place/sports bar with a VIP lounge and 5 large screen TVs. Pre-paid Friday night Shabbos meals will be available in the near future. This French restaurant, which took over the former location of La Carne Grill, on Lexington and 39th, is in the middle of construction and is looking to open in August. The three floor restaurant will feature glass windows between floors and a skylight dining room on the top floor. Click here for photos we took of the construction.
Next door to his newly expanded Schnitzel Express, owner Ephy Uzan is opening his new dairy restaurant today (click here for photo), called Lorelli's Pizza & Pasta Bar (on 39th, off Broadway). Phone number is 212-997-9090. Hours are from 8am-10pm and they are under the OK Supervision. They offer baked ziti, lasagna, ravioli, make it yourself pasta with choices of penne, spaghetti, farfel, rigatoni, fettuccine, and sauces such as marina, vodka, arrabiata, pesto, etc. along with salmon and tilapia. They will be offering delivery in the coming weeks.
* A report that Mr. Broadway is opening downtown next to Bravo Pizza is incorrect

After a decade Kosher Corner
on Main Street has closed. They will reopen under new ownership at the end of the month under the name Chopped and Press
Purple Pear North
in the Catskills will be under new ownership and under a different name. It will be someone you recognize, but we can't say who it is yet :)
After just a couple months, Gourmet Delight in Fairlawn has closed.
Hamsa closes, Tavlin opens
Hamsa in Tenafly has new owners and has changed their name to Tavlin (means: spices)
They have redecorated it and took out many of the HAMSA symbols that were all over & just left a few big ones.
They're under the "Labavitch of Monsey"
PHILADELPHIA (Bala Cynwyd)

company of Citron and Rose is now under construction at 321 Montgomery Avenue in Merion Station. They are completely renovating the building from top to bottom, inside and out. They plan to work on it through the summer and into the fall, with a hoped-for opening date in the mid-to late-fall.
