ABOUT Pat's Restaurant
Regarded by many as the "reigning" queen of kosher, this "upscale" Pico-Robertson Cal-Ital kitchen makes everything from pasta to rib-eye steak “so deliciously, you would never know" there were cooking restrictions, is how the Zagat Survey describes Pat’s.  Errol Fine, along with his wife, Pat, hence the name, have been able to create a unique charm that make customers always feel at home.

The Fines have this incredible passion for the culinary arts, service and hospitality.  Delicious food (a “22” in Zagat), excellent service (“21”) and a welcoming ambiance have always been a given, but it’s the personal attention to their clients that make them and their restaurant special.  That’s probably the reason why most of their staff members have been with them for over a decade.  In fact, the staff have learned the special tastes and preferences of their customers- whether it’s remembering a certain drink or a desired table.  It is that consistency, and always creating the best experience for the client that makes their time unforgettable.

With a soaring popularity and lines out the door, reservations are recommended.  The restaurant is decorated with a home and garden, English country feel.  A nice way to start off the meal is with one of their specialty drinks, such as a Melon Martini or a fruity Strawberry Shake.  Signature dishes include Veal Milanese, pounded breaded veal chop with romaine watercress avocado salad.  The Mixed Grill of the Day consisting of lamb shoulder, rib-eye and chicken breast with chimichurri, tomatillo or mushroom sauce is also a winner.  The 24 oz Maestro Steak, juicy and delicious every time, will not disappoint.  All their desserts are made in-house, so be sure to try their famous Chocolate Chip English Bread and Butter Pudding.  It is a must have and it will just amaze you.

[continued above, right]

A big part of Errol’s day is spent taking care of the catering department.  The restaurant is synonymous with fine upscale events.  Pat and Errol are always eager to open their doors to patrons from all over, not just the California area.  They are well known in the USA, Israel and Australia - so make sure you stop by to understand why.

Thirteen years ago I had the pleasure of dining at Pat's restaurant in Los Angeles, California. My husband and I were on our honeymoon at the time. We happened to be meeting up with my parents who were also vacationing there. While I do not remember what we ordered, I do know that we were satisfied. It was a beautiful ambience with very good food. What was especially entertaining was seeing Bob Saget, who played the dad on Full House! If you want a celebrity siting with delicious kosher meat food, this is the place to go! We had a great time and so will you!

Hi there, We got engaged! Ok... figured I'd start by contacting Pat's, knowing you cater many venues. Do you have a list of venues that work for you or that you like? We dont have a date as of yet- we are letting venue availability dictate the date. Thanks, Daniella

Pats is by far the best restaurant that I have had the pleasure of eating in in the country. I particularly recommend the grilled Portobello mushroom appetizer.

Everybody comments about the taste and quality.

This comment is about sanitary conditions of food handling, food surfaces and kitchen equipment. In summary: "Monk" should be happy to eat here.

At a conference at the LA Convention Center, the lunch for the 20 Kosher's came from Pat's. There was plenty of extra food, so I took some back to the room.

It was out of refrigeration for about 6 hours before I got it into a refrigerator. It was in my luggage for 21 hours from check out to arrival home.

Beyond any reasonable expectation, the roast beef, turkey, and vegetables were all still 100% excellent.

Wow.
