Talia’s Steakhouse is always on the cutting edge of restaurant service, offering perks that keep customers coming back for more. From a kosher “cheese” burger that attracts much media attention, to the spanking new recession-proof menu, owner Ephraim Nagar knows how to give you a good time.
Mr. Nagar opened the restaurant in 2002 in memory of his daughter Talia, designating it as a center for constructive gatherings, quality kosher food and happy memories. As you enter, you are greeted by the strains of mellow music, often live, that instantly transforms your mood. Dark woods are accented beautifully with red banquettes and illuminated exposed brick. Combine that with dim lighting and flickering candles and you have the perfect setting for a romantic dinner or a business meeting gone right. In addition, paintings with Kabbalistic-looking, whimsical letters that spell out the word Talia in Hebrew add the perfect touch.
The restaurant is usually bustling with dates and a hip, trendy crowd. It has an open bar where you are able to eat, drink and watch a sports game on their 42” Sony Plasma HDTV. The bar is a great place to meet, mix and mingle with other singles and friends. It is a small, intimate space that encourages new conversations or brings existing ones to the next level. On Saturday nights, the restaurant is open till 4am. Every Wednesday night at 10 pm, join them for Parshat HaShavuah table with Chabad, and every Sunday at 12 PM join their brunch with a guest Rabbi as they discuss contemporary issues. Participate in these shiurei torah and get 50% off of your bill.
They have live music on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, with no cover charge. Talia's offers four prix fixe recession-proof menus every night; a $13, $22, $28, $39 option. Each option has a dish of steak, burger, fish and chicken. Each option has at least one side of mashed potatoes, fries, rice, saute mushrooms, sauteed spinach, etc. Except for the option of $13, you will receive a soup or a salad with the main dish of $22, $28 and $39 plus two side dishes. In addition, Talia's serves special premium cuts of steaks such as bone in prime rib for one or for two, filet mignon and butcher's cut. Moreover, Talia's serves duck, whole fish and vegetarian dishes.

We never been to Talia's Steakhouse and since we are going to be a group of 15 and most of my guests are from out of town, I wanted to check Talia's Steakhouse prior to making reservations for Thanksgiving. So, last night, my wife and I went to Talia's for dinner and we found out that the ambiance is great, the food was very freash and tasty and the service was professional and attentive. We are looking forward to enjoy our thanksgiving dinner at Talia's.
