In February 2015, Mike Krispine opened his eponymous burger joint in Cedarhurst, New York, and the place has been buzzing ever since. Mike's Burgers is named after the owner and chef, Chef Mike. Chef Mike is getting creative with his Israeli/Mexican/American fusion dishes, and encourages his customers to do the same. There are many options with which to get creative with your burger; everything, from how the meat is cooked to what goes on top of it. The choice is yours. Mike runs his establishment with the strictest policies; every burger must be cooked to perfection, anything less is unacceptable. This policy of perfection is carried out from start to finish, as they butcher and grind their own meats, bake their own dough, and make everything from scratch, in-house, so they can control the quality and freshness of every item that leaves their kitchen. With an open grill, you can see their spotless kitchen while they prepare your food.
There are three basic principles which are the foundation of Mike's Burgers; quality is key, fresh is best, and keep the customers happy. They only hire servers with prior customer service experience and great interpersonal skills. This ensures that their restaurants customer service is top notch and the customers always come first and leave happy. Krispine reflects, "All my life I did catering for different events, but I never had the opportunity to greet my customers. I always wanted to meet the people and see their enjoyment first hand. At Mike's Burgers, I feel we do it right, I have something for everyone." Something for everyone, indeed, whether you're a newcomer or a regular, you'll always find something different on the menu. The Hawaiian Burger with "bacon" and grilled pineapple, the Chili “Cheddar” Sausage Burger, Duck Bacon & Brisket Duet on Baked Wonton Shell, or the Napoleon Burger, a veal patty with "bacon," sautéed spinach, tomato jam, and eggs benedict with crispy parsnip chips are just three examples of the ever-changing unique specials.

I don't give out endorsements easily, save with my old friends at Chosen Island and the giant eggrolls and excellent sushi at Wok Tov, I have never given out my Legendary review of any Burger places. That is until I took out at Mike's Burgers - this meat griddle is worthy of the patronage of The Legendary Danny O'Doul and I would recommend it whole-heartedly to all my Meatgan friends (Meatgan is the opposite of Vegan which is just a silly waste of time and gastronomy. I love burgers from MIkes! Keep it up! The Legendary Danny O'Doul
