ABOUT Estreia

A restaurant as beautiful and elegant as Estréia, which translates as ‘premiere debut’ in Portuguese, needs to be visited. This is an upscale treat for New Jersey folk who do not want to travel all the way to Manhattan for fine dining. Estréia, an ultra-modern steakhouse serves as the posh spot in the quiet neighborhood of Lakewood, NJ. Two partners, Itchie Rosenbaum & Shloimie Green provide a rich and refined ambiance for their guests with Estreia’s contemporary décor, custom classic table cloths, white china, and wine bottles racked on the wall. 

The evening can begin with glasses of fine wine paired with their Oriental Beef Spring Roll, pan-seared Veal Sweetbreads or Baby Lamb Chop which consist of double cut baby lamb chops served with wild leek and fresh mint almond pesto, which is just divine. The restaurant uses only the best meats such as USDA Prime Beef for his specials. The Asian Marinated Rib-Eye stands out on top and is marinated interestingly and effectively in soy sauce and Coca-Cola. A must try is their any one of their signature 21-Day, wet-aged, hand cuts which include the 26oz. Cowboy Steak and the 34oz. Tomahawk Steak all with three different cooking styles (grilled, pan-seared, or pepper-crusted) and five different sauces (Béarnaise, Bordelaise Demi-glace, Horseradish, Mushroom au poivre), served with Pommes Frites (French Fries), beer-battered Onion Rings,olive oil-whipped Yukon mashed potatoes and Chef's vegetables.

For poultry lovers, the Chicken Capon is another popular dish on the menu as it’s served as a boneless sous vide chicken breast with garden herb stuffing, sevred with wild  mushroom, ramp couscous and fesh english peas. Also, don’t miss out on the Chilean Sea Bass, with purple risottto, white asparagus cream, and sauteed spinach. There is also the Wilted Spinach Salad, which is a 9 oz filet of salmon served over wilted spinach, sauteed asparagus, braised fennel. oven roasted tomatoe, boiled egg and Bearnaisse sauce. A chef’s tasting menu is also available when you call 24 hours in advance. This is a 6 course meal, any night. So bring your spouse, your date, or even a business colleague for an impressive meal at Estreia.
