ABOUT Traditions Eatery Brooklyn

Traditions Deli and Eatery on Kings Highway is Scott Fagan’s newest venture. While the Traditions flagship store in the Five Towns is a sit-down meat restaurant, the Brooklyn location is a quick counter-service deli with casual seating, though you’d never be able to tell by looking at it. Traditions did not spare any expense when creating this new location.  The sleek silver and cream booths and walls, soft lighting and modern looking chairs all suggest upscale, high-end cuisine.

Choose from their Classic Starters to kick-start your meal with a burst of flavor. The Ira Dog is highly recommended; a grilled hot dog topped with coleslaw, mustard, fried onion and grilled pastrami. For a kosher diner classic, go with the Stuffed Derma with gravy, or Homemade Stuffed Cabbage served with white rice. The overstuffed deli sandwiches are huge and the long list of meats available makes it almost impossible to choose. And how could you go wrong with one of the Traditions Top Picks? The Edgar Sandwich, the Tenderloin Steak Wrap and the Classic Jaw Breaker – pastrami, corned beef, roast beef, turkey and tongue piled on a hero with lettuce, tomato and Russian dressing – which serves two, are all mouthwatering delights featured in this section. Traditions also has an entrees menu, burgers, knishes, and salads, like the “Traditions” Cobb Salad, with iceberg lettuce, vine ripe tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, grilled chicken, avocado and “bacon” bites, topped with raspberry vinaigrette.

Kings Highway around the lower numbered streets is quickly becoming a hot spot for new, inventive restaurants and Traditions Deli and Eatery fits right in. Traditions also has a full catering menu, so be sure to contact them for your next event. With the shiny white tables, a convenient location, and an inviting atmosphere, Traditions is about to become your new favorite deli spot!
