Acqua Trattoria re-opened in November 2017 and has rapidly become a star of the Miami Kosher Restaurant scene. Having always wanted to open a fish restaurant that would serve simple fresh grill fish and great cold beers, owner Mark Aquinin and family turned that dream into a reality by opening Acqua, which means water in Italian, named as such for the fusion of Italian Cuisine and Latin Fish flavors. Acqua is located next to a beautiful marina and surrounded by water fountains it is the only place in South Florida where you can sit outside and enjoy a great meal in such a setting.
Acqua is run on the philosophy of always striving to stay relevant, with the belief that a restaurant always has to be changing and evolving for the better, sometimes it may be the decor, sometimes the drinks but always working to stay fresh as well as listening to their customers in order to give them a great new experience every time they visit.
With an extensive wine menu, beer menu and choices of Sangria, or Spiked or Virgin Lemonades you will definitely feel relaxed and in vacation mode, whether you are from out of town or a local. With a varied choice of appetizers, fish, pasta and salads there will definitely be something for everyone. Highly recommended are the Arrancini Balls, amazing Italian rice balls filled with either the 4 cheese sauce and served with marinara or filled with mushroom sauce and topped with mushroom and truffle oil. Other popular dishes are the Wild Mushroom Pappardelle, farfalle pasta served with a wild mushroom Parmesan cheese sauce or try their signature Fried Whole Snapper, crunchy and juicy whole fried snapper, made to order and served with a side of pickled onions. The Fish and Chips served with house tartar sauce and house fries is also another very popular dish as is the Oven Baked Branzino, oven baked lemon herb and garlic infused branzino served with a paprika cumin chimichurri sauce.
At Acqua, each dish is carefully choreographed with a perfect pairing of flavors that will leave you savoring every bite. And of course room must be left for dessert, especially on vacation. All dessert’s are homemade, choose from a Creamy Cheesecake, Caramel Flan, Chocolate Mousse or homemade Tiramisu. A perfect ending to a perfect meal in a perfect setting.

The place is beautiful, the food was fantastic. We had the seared fish tacos, and eggplant appys. The sunchoke pasta was divine, the salmon cooked perfectly, and the hot chocolate shuffle divine. It tasted like it had some sort of cheese in it. Definitely recommend!
