ABOUT Rustiko

Florida’s wide array of delectable cuisine speaks to the sophisticated palates of food-savvy residents and visitors alike. Rustiko, although quite new, has gained a reputation for its exquisite flavors, aromas and ambiance that makes for an unforgettable experience. With presentation, texture and taste in mind, not a sense is left out of the experience when dining at Rustiko. The elegant tiled floors, vines hanging along the walls, and wood grain finishes enhance the feeling as though you’ve hopped on a plane to Italy.

True to the Italian region, you’ll find a variety of pastas and pizzas done to perfection on the menu. With small plate options, you’ll get to try an assortment of creations. While you’re there, be sure to try some of the creatively inspired dishes that take familiar ingredients to new heights such as the Quinotto, which is creamy quinoa with mixed mushrooms seasoned with truffle oil, Pumpkin Ravioli; homemade pasta in a creamy smoked cheese sauce with pine nuts and a touch of cinnamon, Beet Gnocchi with creamy goat cheese, and Tequenos; flaky dough with ooey gooey cheese served with a guava sauce for dipping, just to name a few. For the health conscious, your palette can be equally thrilled by their fabulous spinach quinoa salad or tuna steak entrée. Plus, none of their dishes are fried!

Save room for dessert and drinks for an even more elemental oomph. Just one bite of the Nutella pizza, coconut tres leches or oreo cheesecake will heighten your enjoyment. Rustiko has created a twist on the traditional drink menu by serving sangria in chilled mugs, sake and tea infused mojitos and a complete wine selection. The relaxed atmosphere that extends into the late hours makes Rustiko a great choice for a Saturday night.

This is simple, rustic, Italian cooking at its very best, and one of the most charming environments you can eat in in. Great food, great service and great ambiance combined will ensure that Rustiko is one of your new favorite spots for your next great meal!

I consider Rustiko in Surfside to be the best restaurant in this area with daily several different fresh fish dishes and pleasant creativity in preparing the menu items. I highly recommend this place.
