ABOUT Eighteen Restaurant
Located on the Upper East Side, Eighteen Restaurant owned by power couple Sidney and Tammy Cohen, renovated in early 2014 and revamped itself into a hip and modern Steak, Burger, & Sushi experience. Since opening in May 2010, it has been a memorable spot because of its symbolism in the Jewish religion – “18” numerically in Hebrew is Chai, meaning “Life”. Lunch and dinner is served for families, couples, and business hipsters alike. Influenced by the NYC Downtown vibe, contemporary wood décor (custom made and shipped from Mexico) and candle lit tables, the restaurant provides affordability with comfort; you can even ask for the cozy couch seating in the back!

At Eighteen, you can find the latest cocktails at the new bar backed by a colorful aquarium. Customers can choose to eat at the main dining room or the sushi bar to taste 18’s Signature “Pizza” (Sliced Tuna on Thin Crust with Truffle Oil in Chef’s Secret Sauce) or perhaps the Caterpillar Roll (Spicy Tuna, Tempura Flake topped with Avocado Tobiko).  Features on the menu include their delicious Yemenite Soup with beef and potatoes and char-flamed grilled Romanian Tenderloin Steak marinated with garlic and peppercorn. If you enjoy the steak, Eighteen King’s Platter (serving 3) will really get your mouth watering which also includes Rib Steak, Lamb Chop, Beef Kebab, Romanian Kebab, and much more. New to the menu is the Kebab Bar with a variety of tasty meats on baguettes and combo platters. They are known for their beef burgers which are on a brioche bun, including fan favorites, 18 Signature Burger (topped with mushrooms, fried onion) and the Southwest Burger (topped with guacamole, Bermuda onion). With this much food on your plate, you might have to take a little bag to go.

When food is this delicious, it’s no wonder off-site catering and online ordering with Eighteen is so popular, available for all private parties including non-profit organization dinners held up to 300 guests. Pre-fixe menus are always available to parties of 12 or more that includes your favorite sushi rolls, combo salads, and main courses.
