ABOUT Carlos & Gabby's Queens
Carlos and Gabby’s Queens is particularly well-situated on a quieter stretch of Main Street. Within walking distance of Queens College, the restaurant is a convenient stop on the way to the U.S. Open, a Mets game, or to enjoy a siesta from shopping along the hub of Kew Garden Hills. This is the third location of the successful Glatt Kosher Mexican Grill chain. This jaunty and cheerful space is done up in spicy orange and brown tones, and accented with Mexican décor. The bright, spicy cuisine is served on multi-colored striped tables. The crowd is a nice mixture of young students, 20’s and 30’s and families.  All are savoring the taste and flavor of authentic and affordable Mexican dishes. Recommended starters include their chicken zingers or buffalo fingers.  You can also find your favorite deli sandwiches and barbecue stalwarts, along with American fare done up in a Southwestern flair. Some of the lighter items includes chicken burgers and salads. There is a great kids menu for those that do not enjoy Mexican flavor quite yet. You can also create a champion taco combo: choose one of five varieties, customized with your pick of soft, crisp or soft-grilled shell. Or go for a signature sub packed with deli and barbecued meat, flame-grilled burger or jumbo potato with chili, vegetables, or steak strips.  The service is friendly and efficient, a trademark of Carlos & Gabby’s restaurants. And if you find yourself craving Mexican fare late at night, it is good to know they are open late and ready to please you.

Carlos & Gabby's Queens
Devorah- 03/06/13

I enjoy the food and I can't say anything negative about that although half the time I place an order something is always left out, usually the dipping sauces that are supposed to come with the food, but what I really get annoyed about is the fact that closing time is listed as 11:00 and it should really say 10:20 because many times I have called to place an order for pickup at about 10:15, 10:20 and was told that either the kitchen is already closed or I have to be there in 5 minutes if I want to place an order and pick it up, so really you close at 10:25 not 11:00, please stop advertising false closing times, it is very annoying!
