The newly branded Jerusalem Cafe, formerly Jerusalem 2, in midtown Manhattan has the same great prices but a new and improved menu and a clean modern elegance that feels warm and inviting.
Founded over 40 years ago, the newly named Jerusalem Cafe has served over 20 million meals and “may well be the most well known kosher restaurant still in existence in the world” says owner Robert Teitelbaum. Nostalgia plays a big role in the food we love to eat and Jerusalem Cafe can provide that with the comfortable atmosphere and new menu. “It really only costs a few pennies more to make really good food instead of just good food” says Teitelbaum, and that is exactly what he has done with Jerusalem Cafe.
The upgraded menu includes sushi, salmon, tilapia, fried fish, design-your-own salad for only $8.50, hot and cold buffets, pizza, sandwiches, cappuccinos, frappes, smoothies and shakes. Try the new black bean soup or salsa tilapia melt for lunch or dinner and don’t forget about dessert for a sweet ending to your meal! The freshly baked pastries, cakes and cheesecakes are created by the new in-house Argentinian baker and her gourmet carrot cake, lemon cake and white chocolate strawberry cheesecake will keep you coming back.

Jerusalem Cafe will also cater your event in the luxury of your own home, at the venue of your choosing or you can host your event at of the restaurant. The “Milkshake Blast” party for $30 per person is perfect for a birthday party or bat mitzvah and Jerusalem Cafe will attend to every detail of your entertaining needs.
Jerusalem Cafe has a variety of food options, such as, pizza, pasta, salad, fish, etc. My friends and I go all the time for someone's birthday. There are options that accommodate everyone's diet and preference. There is a lot of space that could accommodate a big party. The couches make for a more comfortable and relaxing meal. From the time you walk in, order and then sit down, the time is barely a few minutes. There is enough staff to take your order and make your food, which then allows you to sit down with your food in no time; this, for me, is a great aspect I look for when choosing a restaurant.
