ABOUT Grill Time North Miami

Decorated in a gold cream color scheme, Grill Time is set in a modern atmosphere with a touch of French Italian ambiance. Grill Time has a strong neighborhood following, and also attracts many out-of-town visitors who take advantage of the warm weather and hot location. After years in the restaurant business and working with a number of different cuisines, owners Eran Yousafan and Neil Karni decided that it would be exciting to fuse a number of dishes together to make something special. The restaurant is distinctive because it is so much more than meets the eye. You walk in thinking Middle Eastern food but you find a variety of international dishes that will engage both your eyes and your appetite. The owners believe that in order to make a restaurant a success, you must strive to set yourself apart from the crowd and be unique. One of the ways they have added enticement, is by serving 9 complimentary fresh house salads to your table with all entrees.

[continued above, right]

The Kalbi Pepper Steak, made from the most tender rib steak, offers a taste that exceeds words and is only one of many house specialties. The Lamb Shanks are so tender and the Baby Lamb Ribs are so soft, that they both melt in your mouth. Another must-have is the Chilean Sea Bass Filet, surrounded by roasted garlic and broiled in Sambuca and herbs that has a rich yet delicate flavor. All entrees are served with tomatoes and grilled onions, steamed vegetables and choice of roasted potatoes, homestyle mashed potatoes, rice, majadra or french fries. Their specialty drink list includes smoothies with an assortment of tropical fruit flavors. For a savory sweetness, try the Bavaria topped with a rich white cream and layered with sweet biscuits. The Bavarian cream is then sprinkled with chocolate to make every bite full of tantalizing flavor.

Made my Mom's 80th birthday party at Grill Time NMB earlier this month for 45 people. I do not have one complaint. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was great. I was planning this event from up North. The owner allayed all my concerns about being so far away and I was right to trust him and leave everything in his hands. Kudos to Grill Time!

i called up during passover and grill time was fully booked because of all the holiday tourists. when the man who answered the phone seemed to be the owner or the manager told me they were fully booked i had asked him if he had known any other kosher restaurants in miami he then told me no then i asked again and he said he doesnt know any kosher restaurants in miami it was very clear he was lying and did not want to give a customer to his competition even though another jew was in need of food during the holiday

Ditto for us. We go out of our way to go there when we fly down to Fl. If we land in Ft Lauderdale, head down to North Miami Beach to this restaurant. The food is made to order, lots of salads, gratis, and the price is reasonable. Would recommend highly

This was always my favorite restaurant -- until last week.

Ordered the Rib Eye as I always do and it was 1/2-3/4 fat. When I complained I was told that it was the best they could get because of the Rubashkin problem. They just couldn't get better meat What a terrible excuse. As a GOOD restaurant, they should have stopped serving steaks altogether, with a note on the menu saying: "Sorry to disappoing you but we will not be serving this quality of meat."

I would have felt much better and would have saved $40. Also, they would not have lost a customer.
