The subject of many a Buzzfeed listicle, the 90s lunch box snack staple Dunkaroos are returning this summer. No exact date has been set as of yet. The snack consists of small cookies with a serving of frosting, and you are meant to dunk the cookies in the frosting for a satisfying sweet experience. Both the cookies and frosting come in a variety of flavors. The original was supervised under the OU, and they are in the process with General Mills (the Dunkaroos parent company) of acquiring a re-certification. SIDE DISHES
Famed late night host and stand-up comedian Conan O'Brien stopped by Charcoal Grill & Bar recently for a meal. We are not sure what he ordered but we're sure it was quite delicious knowing Chef Lenny. I guess when in Lala Land... Click here to see more.
A few weeks ago I got to spend a lovely Shabbat with my family on the Upper West Side. We stayed at a hotel and had all of our meals at Talia's Steakhouse, who host weekly prixe fixe Shabbat meals. The food was delicious and the company was even better. I loved taking the time to go away and just being with my family. Of course the food was fantastic too. Read all about it here
As I mentioned last month the American Dream Mall in New Jersey is in full swing. I went on a tour with my family last month. Of course we tried some of the fantastic kosher food options there like Chickies. Check out some of our photos and videos from the Nickelodeon Park here, the indoor skating rink here, the indoor ski slope here, and Chickies here. The water park is opening soon. Yep this is all under one roof!
We posted to the group a question. How did they like their pizza, more well cooked or just a little bit done. Check out the photos below. The Overwhelming majority preferred a little bit done (B)! Anyway you slice it, we always welcome good pizza here at GKRF!

The members of the rabbinate enforcing the laws have recieved special training from the Public Security Ministry and are working in conjunction with many other government bodies including the Agriculture Ministry. KFWE EVENT RECAP
Kosher Food and Wine Festival - NY
So I'm sure many of you, like me, are recovering from the annual BIG KIDDUSH last week at Chelsea Piers. To think you have over 100 types of food, hundreds of wines to sample is pretty awesome. The VIP area was also very cool, gorgeous venue, delicious steak, sliders, beef tacos, champagne flowing, I had a great time. If you would like to see my full thoughts on the event please click here to read more
While I couldn't be there in person, I was definitely there in spirit. Nice showing this year from the Los Angeles edition of the Kosher Food and Wine Festival (KFWE). Our friends at Charcoal, The Bacon Guys, La Gondola, and The Boulevard put on a fantastic show! Looking forward to hopefully going next year. Check out some photos here. Check out the recap from our LA correspondent and Top LA Foodie, Lee Fisher. Click here to read all about Lee's VIP experience and feel like you were there right along with him.
