OPENINGS, CLOSINGS & NEWS...
Long Island
Chimichurri Charcoal Kitchen 2nd location will be glatt kosher and under the supervision of Rabbi Aaron D. Mehlman of National Kosher Supervision. This is great and welcome news after the restaurant initially was going to be open by a non-Jewish owner without supervision. But with the outpouring of support and encouragement from our group the owner changed his mind. I will give myself a little credit (sometimes you need to) for the work and hours I put into this over the last few weeks, consulting with Tzvi, the owner, and putting Rabbi Mehlman in touch with Chimichurri. For more information see the announcement hereThis new location will be located at 11 Old Country Road, Carle Place, NY 11514, next to the Roosevelt Field Mall, in the North Hempstead section of Long Island.
