The owners of the very popular falafel and Middle Eastern restaurant in Brooklyn are keeping their doors open but are looking to sell. As you can imagine, owning and operating a restaurant takes a huge amount of time and effort and the owners are working on more ventures and feel now is the right time to sell it. The veteran and popular sushi restaurant on Coney Island Avenue and N has had quite the year. They were sold by the original owners who live in Monsey to Yossi Meirov (who actually found out about the sale on our FB group) back in February. The restaurant was "rolling" along until May when an unexpected fire next door unfortunately knocked the store out of commission until August. Welcome to the biz Yossi. One thing that came out of this tragedy is shedding more light on the "Wash for Josh" movement. The owner of Josh's Brick Oven was diagnosed with some terrible news earlier in the year and so a campaign was started, Wash for Josh, where we should all have Josh in our prayers and in our blessings for a full and speedy recovery. The Kosher Veggie Crust will open under KVH supervision, they will offer a wide variety of Items, including dairy Indian fair, a unique addition to the Boston Kosher scene. Opening day is set for December 3^rd, 2019. All items will be Pas Yisrael, Chalav Yisrael, & Bishul Yisrael. The Kosher Veggie Crust is not under Jewish ownership and is therefore Halachically permitted to operate on Shabbat. KVH has worked with the management to address all Shabbos concerns. An amazing place for coffee, bakery and camaraderie in Fox Point WI. A kosher gathering space that will also have lunchtime wraps. The facility trains individuals with special needs how to work in food service and helps to transition these folks to other jobs.
