From the owner of Kaffe Kafe, there is a new kosher, Cholov Yisroel, Espresso Sandwich Bar called "Lait Cafe" which just opened this past week. This is great news for those in the area for some fun shopping or dreaded jury duty as there are not many casual Kosher dining options in the area. Lait Cafe is offering ready made and to-order foods as well as daily specials and drinks. They will have platters for catering available as well. Located in the former location of The Shuk at 129 Livingston Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Click here to see more photos and menus.
The Prime Hospitality Group's newest Brooklyn location is now open for business. After months of wistfully looking at their storefront of Ave J and East 12th, the doors are now actually open. Prime Pizza is an artisan pizza restaurant, where you can find delicious creations such as fried pizza and zeppoles. Reviews have already started pouring in for Prime Pizza, check them out here. The Prime Burger restaurant located next door should be open after Succos.
The artisan pizza place, famous for it's extra thin crusts and innovative mini pies, is open again after some remodeling. The goal of the renovation was for the restaurant to feel more comfortable: they removed the bar seating to make use of the natural light, changed the wood on the walls and tables to a lighter color, added new lighting. A service shelf will be added so customers can reach forks, cups, napkins and other items easily, and the bathroom has been completely redone. The result is a comfortable but chic, all new Posh Tomato.
There's a new cafe and pizzeria in Borough Park, formerly Benny's Pizza, now Table 40. They are under new management and have revamped the menu. Serving up unique dishes like Poutine with mozzarella cheese and gravy, home-made Veggie burgers and fresh pastries like their mini muffins. They are offering back to school specials and platters for those of us who have yet to unpack from the summer vacation! Table 40 is located at 4001 13th Avenue in Brooklyn.

Kosher Store Opens in Warsaw
A new kosher store called Goldenberg's has opened in Warsaw, making it only the second kosher store in Poland's capital city. Owner Piotr Goldenberg previously ran his business online, but recently decided to open a store front that will offer a broad choice of kosher meats, bread, alcohol and even "various utensils indispensible in the traditional Jewish home." It's not only a grocery, but a place with atmosphere where people will be able to pop in and have a coffee or sandwich, and listen to music. Click here for the full thread. h/t Stetzl.org
