LATEST UPDATE: Salsa Metsuyan now OPEN!
UPDATE: Owner of Sushi Metsuyan took over the former location of Royal Persian Grill when it closed, and an inside source has just confirmed that their new restaurant will be opening in two weeks. Called Salsa Metsuyan, it'll be a Mexican restaurant, like a kosher version of Chipotle, but more authentic. It's going to be waiter service and we've heard that it looks amazing. Can't wait!
Teaneck News: Restaurant Merry Go Round
Sadly after many years, Royal Persian Grill on West Englewood Avenue has closed. Royal Persian Grill has been a community favorite for years, serving up great, authentic Persian and Mediterranean food. While we will miss them and their unbeatable lunch specials, the owner of Sushi Metsuyan in Teaneck has bought the store and will be creating something new and exciting. His vision for the new restaurant brings something never-before-seen to Kosher cuisine. Can't wait to tell you what it is, but all in due time. Keep an eye out for news on our Facebook group.
