End of an Era... Or does it have to be?
This is really sad news for those who are familiar with the veteran diner/cafe in Flatbush. Opened for decades it was often frequented with Yeshiva of Flatbush students (me back in the day) and customers who came in for their very reasonably priced breakfast, lunch and dinner menus...
and those rolls, oh, those freshly baked, out of the oven rolls. And muffins.
For a few reasons, some having to do with the landscape of the restaurant industry, real estate, life, the restaurant was not able to keep going. It really is a shame because just a couple of years ago, they renovated the place, making it more clean and modern.
Another example of, if you don't visit your local restaurants, it may be too late because they will close.
But, all is not lost and the owner still has the lease and would be willing to sell it with the name and existing accounts.
Lots of potential with a full experienced operator and good location.
