We’re excited to officially announce that brothers Ed and Boris Safaniev will be opening "Cork & Slice" in Cedarhurst, NY! Located at 477 Chestnut St, across the street from the LIRR, Cork & Slice promises to offer traditional and innovative Italian cuisine, artisan pizzas and wine with extraordinary hospitality and ambiance. With Amsterdam Burger opening on the same block, the trend of non-kosher establishments turning kosher continues and the Safanievs hope to revitalize the block with excellent kosher food. Ed Safaniev told GKRM, “we want to create something different, something unique.  Our goal is to create an upscale kosher Italian dining experience unlike any other.” The restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they're hoping to be open soon after the summer when the area residents return from vacation.
