End of an Era: Famous Pita in Brooklyn Closing Within Days

We've seen the writings on the proverbial wall, and we've known this for some time, but all indications are that the decades-old Brooklyn restaurant will close by Yom Kippur or Succos. We just stopped in to check up on Pureintime the place and the manager/mashgiach confirmed the closing. Although it looks like they will be moving their catering business to the 5 Towns. In any case, as a public service announcement, if you're feeling nostalgic and want to come back one more time, you have a few days left. Keep in mind though that they are only serving falafel, shwarma and their famous salad bar. They are located on the corner of Coney Island Avenue and Newkirk Avenue.
