Teaneck Doghouse Now Under OU Supervision
As of last Friday (3/24), the North Jersey sports bar in under the supervision of the Orthodox Union. They will be open during Chol Hamoed Pesach. Serving a rotating assortment of dishes to be served in a cafeteria style, where the patrons will choose their meal components as they move down the line. The eatery will seat about 40, bringing something fresh, healthy and always different downtown. Opening after Pesach in the ground-floor space at 201 N. Charles Street.
CLEVELANDCongratulations to Malka Rosenberg and Unger's Kosher Bakery on 40 years. What an accomplishment! I visited the bakery this past summer for the first time and met Malka and she is one heck of a lady and they have really great pastries. FLORIDAA new pareve eatery in North Miami Beach from the owners of Foozo and Dixie BBQ, now open next door to the main Foozo location, is Bol Health Kitchen.
"Bol"refers to the variety of healthy bowls they serve like: Poke Bowls, Acai Bowls, Grain Bowls, Salad Bowls, Pitaya Cocada, as well as serving moothies, health shots and phenomenally delicious vegan and/or gluten free desserts and they make their own granola and crackers out of the excess pulp from the juicing too! Chai Wok is opening a second location in Surfside. The new restaurant in the former Wok Star and B&H Pizza locations will feature the same delicious cuisine as their North Miami location, offering counter service with seating for about 20. Scheduled to open in mid April, about a week after Pesach.
Ramona's Cafe Opening in Boca

Scheduled to open mid-May in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Kosher Palate will host full service catering in their party room, offsite catering, sit-down deli, bakery, grocery and of course BBQ. Kosher Palate will also host a full kosher grocery with items not always found in the DFW area. We will have fresh checked lettuce and herbs under the guidelines of Dallas Kosher as well as meats and cholov yisroel dairy products. MONTREALChez Benny is Back in Business
Chez Benny Montreal closed its doors after 20 years in late August. They have now secured a new location on Queen Mary Road and will be re-opening after the holidays. We look forward to seeing the new place.
