Regarded by many as the "reigning" queen of kosher, this "upscale" Pico-Robertson Cal-Ital kitchen makes everything from pasta to rib-eye steak “so deliciously, you would never know" there were cooking restrictions, is how the Zagat Survey describes Pat’s. Errol Fine, along with his wife, Pat, hence the name, have been able to create a unique charm that make customers always feel at home.
The Fines have this incredible passion for the culinary arts, service and hospitality. Delicious food (High scores in Zagat), excellent service (high again) and a welcoming ambiance have always been a given, but it’s the personal attention to their clients that make them and their restaurant special. That’s probably the reason why most of their staff members have been with them for over a decade. In fact, the staff have learned the special tastes and preferences of their customers- whether it’s remembering a certain drink or a desired table. It is that consistency, and always creating the best experience for the client that makes their time unforgettable.
With a soaring popularity and lines out the door, reservations are recommended. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with warm and inviting ambiance.
A nice way to start off the meal is with one of their specialty drinks, such as a Melon Martini or a fruity Strawberry Shake. Signature dishes include Veal Milanese, pounded breaded veal chop with romaine watercress avocado salad. The Mixed Grill of the Day consisting of lamb shoulder, rib-eye and chicken breast with chimichurri, tomatillo or mushroom sauce is also a winner. The 24 oz Maestro Steak, juicy and delicious every time, will not disappoint. All their desserts are made in-house, so be sure to try their famous Chocolate Chip English Bread and Butter Pudding. It is a must have and it will just amaze you.

A big part of Errol’s day is spent taking care of the catering department. The restaurant is synonymous with fine upscale events. Pat and Errol are always eager to open their doors to patrons from all over, not just the California area. They are well known in the USA, Israel and Australia - so make sure you stop by to understand why.
