The owners took over Pita Grill on 2nd avenue in December 2015, making the once non kosher eatery into a glatt kosher establishment. Owners Ofer and Manuel come from two separate worlds, but they fuse together perfectly and it shows in their blended creations. The California Hummus(hummus infused with cilantro, jalapenos and fresh lime juice) is the perfect example of Pita Grills’s infused menu.
The owners take pride in their restaurant being kosher. Beyond that aspect they are also targeting non- kosher customers as well. They believe in educating people on the benefits of eating kosher not only in a religious aspect but they are educating all people in leading a healthy lifestyle and the benefits that kosher food has on quality food. Everything at Pita Grill is made fresh. They truly have health as their main focus. “The Gym Craze” is a section on their menu geared towards the health conscious. “The Muscle Maker”(grilled chicken topped with brown rice and a thick lentil soup) is a very popular dish. If you are looking to cater an event or order for Shabbos Pita Grill has a full catering menu as well as a Shabbos menu. Offering a buffet style for Shabbos where customers can come in and order food by the pound. They plan on incorporating different themes for Shabbos such as French, Israeli, Mexican and Chinese.

They pride themselves on offering friendly accommodating service where you keep wanting to come back. They treat customers like family. In a city so big Pita Grill is melting everyone together and having them come back for more.
