ABOUT Redefined Coffee
Conceptualized in a snowstorm in Jerusalem in 2013, Redefined Coffee is the brainchild of Yaakov and Penina Fischer who dreamed of a time when people would stop sacrificing quality for convenience and come to realize that there is more to coffee than Nescafe or Keurig or even Nespresso.  This dream was realized with the opening of Redefined Coffee in April of 2017.

Currently one of a couple of fully kosher artisanal coffee shops participating in the coffee’s “third wave” movement which identifies coffee as a specialty item much like wine and less of a commodity, Coffee Redefined roasts its own coffee as well as bakes on premises using high quality ingredients like Belgium and Swiss chocolate and rich Dutch processed cocoas.

Yaakov’s obsession with all things coffee from roasting to brewing and preparing and Penina’s formidable baking skills bring to the veritable and literal table delicious coffees and coffee based drinks as well baked product that will delight adults and kids alike. Of particular note is the chocolate babka and cinnamon swirls as well as the various dairy offerings from the bakery.  All items are available in store or for take out and will bring squeals of delight to even the most discriminating.

House coffee specialties include a nice assortment of freshly roasted single origin coffees for hand brewing as well as whole bean for sale and the Coffee Redefined signature cold brew,  with home made soups recently added as well as prepared salads.  Cheese logs, pecan rosemary pies, carrot muffins, chocolate chip cookies and almond biscotti,  and on Thursdays and Fridays you can pick up homemade egg or whole wheat challahs while getting your coffee fix on. Together, Yaakov and Penina have created a coffee/pastry setting that meets and exceeds even the most refined palate of the kosher consumer.

When you walk into Redefined Coffee your senses immediately come alive with the smell of fresh roasted coffee. Add to that the classic “Bistro Cafe” style and free Wifi this is a great place to drink good coffee whilst either having a business meeting, working on the laptop or just meeting friends for coffee.

At Coffee Redefined every customer is warmly welcomed and made to feel like old friends after a couple of visits. Here they are redefining the coffee experience one hand brewed cup at a time.
