Chef Chaim Levi, owner of Diamond Catering, has been very successful in the Kosher food scene for quite some time. Chaim has always been a creative guy and vert interested to open up a place of his own. Who knew it would take 2 years to finally open, but after some delays, that's exactly what happened the summer of 2018 as the doors of the West Wing opened and the customers haven't stopped coming since.
West Wing consider their cuisine to be upscale fast food, which is basically finger comfort food but very nicely presented on real plates, a little more refined and oh so good.
Their every day menu is unordinary in the best way and is made up of endless unique bites, take for example their Beef Tongue Pizette or Jerusalem Ariis (pocket lamb burgers). It's fantastic with great flavors and no one out there is really doing it like this. If you're lucky enough to make it to West Wing on a Thursday night, they offer a VIP platter of chulent and overnight kugel.
West Wing is conviniently located in the busy town of Woodmere and is such a great addition to the neighborhood, which already has its share of casual spots. They pride themselves on good service and solid food. Their servers make it a point to answer any questions and make their customers feel at home. The atmosphere is a cross between rustic burger joint and a pub, which is the perfect fit to the type of food they're serving up.
