Like the name suggests, the food is absolutely divine.
Located in South Florida, So Heavenly Catering is a bakery and take away that is the passion project of Susie Lustgarten. With delicious food always available the menu takes inspiration from Latin American, Mediterranean, and Asian cuisines. Right now the So Heavenly crew is getting geared up for Pesach with an extensive tasty menu of meals and desserts ready for you to order. It may be a lot of people’s first time making Passover this year, but never fear Susie is here!
While the menu is constantly changing here are some of my favorites from the regular menu:
The Carne Mechada is a nice Latin American (the origins are in Colombia and Venezuela) twist on your usual pulled brisket dish, with a slow cooked meat served in a delicious sauce. If that doesn’t satiate your carnivorous cravings then you have to try the Carne Encebollada, which is a meat slow roasted in onions that is so delightful I am dreaming of it now. On the side, you have to try the So Heavenly rice, which is a rice that is stir fried with eggplant. This side dish is so good you could say it was heavenly. Fresh challah is also available for the perfect start to a delicious shabbat

To cap off the meal you need to order the Chocolate Truffle Cake, a sweet delicious treat that Susie knows you love so she has a Pesach version ready to go so you don’t have to miss out on it no matter what time of year.
While you can always go to the store, Susie and her team are willing to deliver to the South Florida/Brickell area. During this current situation they are also willing to deliver anywhere an Uber will go, all you have to do is send the car! Deliveries are currently going out 3x a day.
