With its soothing cream-colored walls, classic paneling, matching wooden tables, and bright crystal chandeliers, the Coffee Bar and Restaurant is a comforting and welcoming dairy restaurant located in the prime shopping district of Lawrence, NY. The owners have brought to the Five Towns an establishment that is both an upscale coffee house and a casual dining restaurant.
Modern coffee shops are known for their paninis and the Coffee Bar puts a local variation on this favorite with their Five Towns panini made with mozzarella cheese, muenster cheese, feta cheese, tomatoes, guacamole, and a pesto mayo. In addition to a variety of sandwiches and paninis, entrees include many choices of three-egg omelets served with a salad or French fries. The Coffee Bar offers a wide variety of pasta with fresh ingredients, such as cheese tortellini, gnocchi, penne with homemade pesto, and ravioli. Many diners opting for dinner rather than lunch enjoy The Coffee Bar’s fish entrees, such as Salmon (available grilled, or with either teriyaki, or maple ginger glaze), Grilled Tuna Steak, Scampi Chilean Sea Bass, or chef's favorite - Porcini Mushroom Sea Bass. The Coffee Bar and Restaurant takes pride in catering with style and elegance. Families and corporations have come to know that when they use The Coffee Bar and Restaurant for their event, they will receive undivided attention to detail and quality.

Nechama Schechter- 11/02/14 It is always pleasant walking into the new coffee bar. Now that it is redone you can lounge on the comfy black sofa chairs while waiting for your friends to show. There is plenty of seating and I've hardly ever had to wait for a table. The place is usually pretty full and somewhat noisy. They serve starbucks coffee and have loads of different syrups they can blend in. I enjoy omelets and they usually fry them to perfection. One time they had given me a well done omelet and when the waitress brought it over and she saw the look on my face she immediately asked how she could help. She brought it back and within a few minutes I had a new "runny" omelet which is the way I like it. Heather is my favorite waitress there and we always feel very comfortable when she's around. I can't leave out our favorite pasta sauces!! We generally pick up a container of the Alfredo sauce before a yom tov as it really is so good and creamy with the best flavor.
