The crispiest, freshest nuggets have come right to GKR HQ's neighborhood! Owned and run by Chef Daniel Rivera - a familiar face from several top local restaurants as well as a competitor on Chef Wanted on FoodNetwork - Krispy Nuggets is where you should all be going for your crunchy munchy needs.
The Krispy Nuggets menu is small but mighty - and, predictably, mostly features nuggets. You can get them loose or in a sandwich. For ultimate customization purposes, there are four base nuggets: white meat fried, dark meat fried, white meat baked, and beef kebab. Each order of nuggets comes with three sauces, and you will have a difficult time choosing which of the fifteen to get (so let’s breathe a sigh of relief that you can purchase additional flavors). The assortment includes ranch, garlic, hot honey poppers, mango BBQ (made with fresh mango!), and lemon-mayo.
Not only does the crisp of the nugget remain even two hours after frying, the special recipe is gluten free - as the batter is made of rice flour. Keep in mind that Krispy Nuggets does have wheat bread for sandwiches: this is not a niche gluten-free establishment, but that aspect is certainly a plus! They also have separate, paarve fryers which they use to fry their french fries - and will continue using them for more meat-free cooking when the highly anticipated vegan nugget is introduced! So for those of you who crave milk in coffee at any time of day or night: you too can enjoy something from Krispy Nuggets at any time of day or night!
