ABOUT Pier 26

Fishing from this pier guarantees you not only expertly cooked fish but also handmade pasta and a variety of cheese dishes. On August 8th, 2021, Benjamin Haimoff opened Pier 26, a restaurant the likes of which Queens has never seen.


Pier 26 is dairy dining at its finest. The tablecloths are white, the water is sparkling, and the food is dressed up to the nines. In fact, it looks almost too pretty to eat. However, you’ll surely regret not trying something from the extensive and creative menu options prepared by Chef Uri Elbaum.

After all, how many places can you get handmade pasta? How many chances will you have to taste pasta made from a pumpkin, or pasta that tastes like a bagel? After starting your night off with a cheesy pastry such as Spinach and Cheese Empanadas or Cheese Sambuska, you’ll want to save room for the Cacio y Pepe, a portion of handmade pasta in a house pepper blend with olive oil confit served tableside in a showstopping wheel of parmesan on fire.

If you came for the fish, you can’t go wrong with Chef Elbaum’s favorite dish: Branzino from The South. This entrée features a deep-fried branzino fillet, sweet corn chowder, charred onions, and Cajun fries. If you’re not into deep-fried, you’ll be pleased with the American Dream, which is a fire-roasted halibut with yam and marshmallow fluff, chive waffle, and chill maple syrup.

The menu is a beautiful balance of delectable fish and handmade pasta put together in the most creative and original dishes. If after all that, you have room for dessert, there are a few incredibly appealing options. After all, aren’t all the best deserts dairy? The only reason not to order the Deconstructed Cheesecake is if you can’t say no to the Benjamino Crème Brulé. If you can’t choose, just order both; nobody could hold that against you.

Pier 26 also offers a full wine list, as well as spirits.  Whether your drink is vodka or bourbon, Pier 26 has you covered. You can have it up straight or mixed in one of the original cocktails Pier 26 offers such as The Blueberry Smash, The Mad Mango, and The Beehive.

Guests who decide to book a private event get a special treat. Upon request, Chef Elbaum will come out and explain every dish. Not to mention the option of a fiery light show right there at the table! Pier 26 sure knows how to make guests feel special. That feeling is well worth the drive to this latest and greatest destination spot that will have people flocking to Flushing.

Between the ambiance, the attention servers pay their guests, and the passion Chef Elbaum puts into his unique dishes, the only question you should be asking is, how soon can I go?
