ABOUT Oak & Ember

Elegance in Boca Raton? Something you don't normally hear but with the opening of "Oak & Ember" earlier this year (ha, that rhymes), Boca has gone upscale and is a great foodie addition to the neighborhood.

Here's a look back at my dinner a couple of weeks ago and certainly for those who are going to be in the area for the Winter, take notes.

oh, by the way, I just booked tickets to Yeshiva Week with my son, so I'm going back baby!

[continued above, right]

Anyway, here's what you need to know about Oak. It's in the Fountains Shopping Strip with their brother and sister restaurants, Roadhouse, Carmela's, Rave and Bao. But this one stands out for a few reasons.

First, when you pull up, make a quick right turn since the entrance to Oak & Ember is on the other side of the mall. They have valet and self parking right in front. You enter and there is this magnificent marble lit wall with their logo and you come in to an elegant spacious dining room with an open bar to the left. Comfortable seats, black tablecloths, dimly lit, all set the mood for an intimate, refined, classy experience.
