We will be attending the Blue Claws game on Aug. 17 with the Jewish Federation of Ocean County. We are told that Stinger's is sending a food truck to the game. Since one of us is vegetarian, please tell us if you will have any main course foods which do not contain meat. Thank you!

I absolutely love this restaurant. It's always packed because their food is so good! Really- the best kosher restaurant in Brooklyn. Their fish is always fresh, their sides are so creative and DELICIOUS. My husband doesn't usually like to go to dairy restaurants- he always prefers meat-- but Pescada is his only exception, and ONLY preference. Way to go on changing the game, Pescada!

This is a great place. The hamburgers are the juiciest. Absolutely the best. Cooked perfectly to order and reasonably priced. I also really like the blooming onion. It's a schlep for me to get there but when I'm jonesing for a burger, I make the drive. Even my goyesha friends say the burgers are delicious. I rarely eat meat out but this place is an exception. It can be noisy Thurs. night with the kinder and couples but I love it.. There is more room upstairs. I also want to say what a real " Mensch" the owner is. Clean looking jolly fellow with real people skills, a geuine smile just an upstanding guy. I took my 98 year old mom there 2 years ago on Pesach for her birthday. Never ate out in my life on Pesach. We had a ball. Ordered too much food. Mom loved it. I was there the other day and he remembered me and mom. Asked where we were last Pesach and reminded me that her birthday meal this year (she is 100) is on the house...Definitely worth a stop even if you are not local.

I don't give out endorsements easily, save with my old friends at Chosen Island and the giant eggrolls and excellent sushi at Wok Tov, I have never given out my Legendary review of any Burger places. That is until I took out at Mike's Burgers - this meat griddle is worthy of the patronage of The Legendary Danny O'Doul and I would recommend it whole-heartedly to all my Meatgan friends (Meatgan is the opposite of Vegan which is just a silly waste of time and gastronomy. The quality of the food is EXCEPTIONAL! The 12oz Prime Burger was SO GOOD, I ordered a 2nd one immediately. My wife said she never had a burger so good as the burger from Prime Burger. The staff is very friendly and Hassan whom appeared to be the manger was excellent and very good to my wife and myself. I was in the meat business for 30 years and KNOW what beef is. You WON'T find a BETTER burger ANYWHERE. I can't wait to go back to the Prime Burger!

Stopped by Izzy's Smokehouse tonight. It was closed so I knocked a bit and someone finally opened the door. Izzy sold me a pound and a half of smoked brisket, which came with some home made pickle's and red cabbage type of cole slaw I bought some pit smoked brisket n beans He did not have anything else to sell me. Straight out - The stuff he sold me was wow - I am a true gourmet and at a loss for words. He is not yet open and yet is already ranked in the top five Kosher meat places in the USA. I just don't know the other four, lol He mentioned he may sell take out for Shabbos tomorrow, and then close next week to refine the kitchen. I seriously cannot recommend a better place to buy smoked meat. Then again there were no real options until now.

Before reading any further, please skip directly to the pictures above.... the owner spared no expense creating a STUNNING atmosphere. the bar is sparkling new, the wine rack is a wonderful centerpiece, and the artwork/chandeliers lend an atmosphere of being in an expensive, high class environment.... typically associated with the requisite high prices to go along with it.

I love their food !!! Colbeh moved over a few but sacrificed nothing . Their delicious appetizers like the persian potato salad, gondi are a meal in themselves. If you to experience the true flavor, order ghormeh sabzi and taddik. The stew is a delectable blend of greens , tumeric, omani lemons (persian lemons ) with cubes of soft meat. Put it over the taddik, crispy, crusty rice......DELISH. Of course, if you think Big, just get the combination platter which gives you samples of joujeh, kofta kebab, barg.....all delectable cubes of meat or chicken, or ground meat with tantalizing spices. Green rice wuth lima beans, orange rice, all amazing. And the bread, just wear elastic waists because you will want to eat one basket per person. Bring a hearty appetite and you will not be disappointed !!!!!
