Dikla Steinmitz, like many who are gluten free, often despaired of the lack of delicious pastry options year-round; she decided to do something about it. Dikla spent the pandemic honing her baking skills, finding the perfect combination of ingredients for delicious gluten free bread and pastries. Dikla opened Dikla Delicious in March of 2022, a store that sells the sweet gluten free products she put her heart and soul into developing.
Dikla Delicious is a store front; it’s nothing fancy, but perfect for online ordering or pickup and takeout. The cakes are made on the premises by Dikla herself.
Among the delicious gluten free pastries Dikla sells are a variety of vegan cheesecakes, coffee cakes, cookies, and muffins. The honey muffin and chocolate chips cookies are particularly popular, as are the brownies and kokosh (similar to babka in taste, different appearance). The carrot cake is also a top seller.

Dikla missed washing for Shabbos, so she worked on perfecting gluten free challah that tasted good. She makes her own, as well as smaller challah rolls, and focaccia bread. Dikla’s secret is almond flour, the best flour there is for gluten free cooking. For those who are nut free, her challah’s also come in an oat flour option, which utilizes tapioca and brown rice.
In addition to all her gluten free edibles, Dikla’s menu also features fruit smoothies and cold brews. Everything from the pastries to the smoothies is homemade.
Avoiding challah and sweet pastries is no way to live. Eating these sweet gluten free treats makes Dikla happy, and she wants to share that happiness with her customers.
