Information About Bambu: North Miami Beach

About Bambu: North Miami Beach

Bambu Kosher has carved out a space in South Florida’s culinary scene, offering a diverse, pan-Asian menu. With locations in North Miami Beach, Boca Raton, and now Hollywood, the restaurant has built a loyal following by consistently delivering inventive dishes and a thoughtfully designed dining experience.

Owners Lin and Long are Vietnamese refugees that eventually settled down in North Miami. Lyn spent 20 years in Israel before settling there, learning about Chinese cuisine in her parents' non-kosher Chinese Restaurant. Long shares a similar background, although he discovered his passion for cooking a little later in life. They raised their kids before opening the first of the Bambu locations in 2021, making it kosher to stay close to Jewish tradition and culture. Their goal is a simple yet loved one; to make food that makes people happy.

Walking into Bambu, guests are greeted by a modern interior accented with warm lighting and bold floral murals that set a calm and intimate tone. The menu reflects the same attention to detail, presenting a range of Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Korean-inspired options that appeal to both adventurous and familiar palates.

Among the starters, the pastrami egg rolls stand out—crispy, savory, and surprisingly well-balanced. Steamed chicken dumplings and beef gyoza are frequently praised for their tender wrappers and rich fillings. For those seeking lighter fare, the chicken lettuce wraps deliver a satisfying crunch.

Main courses showcase the kitchen’s creativity and commitment to freshness. The world classic General Tso’s Chicken has become a fan favorite, with diners often noting its ideal balance of sweetness and heat, all wrapped in a perfectly crisp coating. The Curry Lemongrass Chicken is another standout, aromatic and richly layered without being overpowering. For vegetarians, the General Tso’s Tofu offers the same bold flavor profile in a meatless format, and the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is frequently singled out for its silky texture and depth.

Noodle dishes like the Vegetable Pad Thai and Lo Mein are crafted with just the right amount of sauce, avoiding the common pitfalls of either dryness or oversaturation. One customer described the Pad Thai’s sauce as "creamy, nutty, and just spicy enough to keep you going back for another bite." The Yang Chow Fried Rice is another versatile option, with diners praising its balanced seasoning and customizable toppings.

Service at all locations receives consistently positive feedback. Staff members are described as knowledgeable, prompt, and genuinely invested in creating a pleasant experience for each guest. Even during peak hours, the kitchens move efficiently without compromising quality.

With its Hollywood location now open, Bambu Kosher continues to expand its reach while maintaining the standards that have earned it a loyal customer base.
