The return of Serge and Yardena Gorge to the Great Neck neighborhood brings with it an exciting new venture: Bistro Burger, an upscale burger bar that opened its doors in December 2013.

This vibrant eatery has quickly become a local favorite, drawing in families and a younger crowd alike. It even earned recognition in The New York Times as one of Long Island's standout destinations for "classy burgers in relaxed settings."

Bistro Burger has an inviting atmosphere, enhanced with the open kitchen concept which allows diners to witness the culinary creations firsthand, adding to the restaurant's casual yet dynamic vibe. Whether you prefer cozy booths or al fresco dining during the warmer months, Bistro Burger offers a comfortable setting for all occasions. Plus, wine and beer and space for private events hosting up to 50 guests makes this the perfect spot for gatherings big and small.

At the helm of Bistro Burger's kitchen is Executive Chef Serge Gorge, whose culinary journey has taken him from Luxembourg to Switzerland and across various esteemed kosher restaurants. His previous venture, Bistro Grill, garnered widespread acclaim and even earned him the Gold Medal Award from Long Island Food Critic as the Best Kosher Restaurant in the area.

Despite its laid-back appearance, Bistro Burger boasts a menu that reflects Chef Gorge's commitment to quality and innovation. Signature burgers like the Bistro Burger with corned beef and the Chili Burger Deluxe with crispy smoked turkey have become instant hits. Homemade sauces such as BBQ, sesame teriyaki, and sriracha honey chili add a flavorful twist to every bite.
