About Elite Cafe
Elite Café, conveniently located on the popular Main Street in Flushing Queens, opened its doors in 2013. Ever since, the dairy cafe stands out amongst the many surrounding eateries. The décor is clean, neat, and with a newly remodeled dining room more modern and fresh. A great place to catch up with a friend, have a business meeting or enjoy any meal with the family.
Originally taken over by Benjamin Haimoff in 2016 and more recently by Yigal Benhaim, his nephew, they wanted to bring high quality dairy cuisine without the high prices to Queens. The food cooked and served at Elite Café, is the ideal combination of Israeli favorites with an American touch.
In addition, their vast menu includes everything you can imagine from a dairy restaurant. If you want that authentic Israeli Shakshuka, order Elite Cafe’s “Shakshuka Morning” dish: poached eggs simmered in tomato sauce with peppers, onions, and jalapeno and served with coffee or tea and orange juice. They are also well known for their popular Avocado Eggrolls. Cooked to a golden crisp on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside.
Their ravioli is an outstanding choice from the pasta section of the menu. You have a choice of several fillings such as cheese and sweet potato as well as a choice of sauces like Alfredo, a la vodka, pesto and marinara. Let’s not forget to mention, the Stuffed Crust Pizza is a top seller, loaded with mozzarella cheese and bursting with flavor. To end your meal on the right note, Elite Cafe has several desserts including crepes and waffles made fresh on site. So if you want the best of both worlds, make sure to visit Elite Cafe the next time you’re in Queens.
