About Krembo: Orlando
Orlando isn’t just where Disney World is. It’s also the city where Krembo Cafe resides. First opened in June of 2023, let’s start with a look at the owners of Krembo.
When Sapir and David Yakubov came to the United States from Israel in 2022, they wanted to create something here that felt like home. They built Krembo from the ground up without any prior knowledge of restaurant ownership. It all comes from intuition, determination, and a deep passion for hospitality.
That feeling of home is what the Yakubov’s have carried into their philosophy. The customer comes first, and the team needs to be happy to make sure that anyone coming in to eat is happy and cared for. What this produces is an environment that the name Krembo aims to create; a space that feels warm, sweet (like the Israeli dessert), and comfortable.
When you look at the space inside and outside (yes, they have outdoor dining), it exudes an air of hominess. The modern design of a cafe with warm tones and a natural wood element blends the feel of a relaxed neighborhood cafe with something polished.
The food is completely centered on the classic Israeli flavors that you know and love. Their Shakshuka is a great example, with the traditional Israeli tomato dish being a specialty of theirs. Other house specialties include the Jerusalem Bagel Sandwiches filled with a variety of fillings, and the Israeli Breakfast Platters.
Being a Kosher Cafe, of course the rest of their menu is diverse. You can go for the house specialties mentioned above, go for their Halloumi salad (crispy halloumi cheese over fresh vegetables), get that fish craving filled with their Salmon Rice Bowl, or get the cafe classic Baked Ziti. And be sure to ask them about their sweet desserts so you can finish any meal the right way.
