About Lieder’s
Dovid Lieder experience with cooking goes way back. His passion for cooking began when he was growing up in a house as one of 14 children, where every Shabbat one of them was responsible for cooking the meals. His skills finally left home when he was 18 and took a role as the cook in a small yeshiva upstate. It was there that he balanced studying for his simcha ordination with cooking for over 70 hungry young men like himself.
His business started out with a small operation working out of a shul kitchen in 2009. After initial success he was able to make space for himself and move to a more comfortable location on the famous Pico-Robertson Boulevard in 2014. Now Lieder's is growing even bigger, as the Pico location took over the store space next door.
Lieder's is perfect for pick up for a quick Shabbos getaway. They offer hot plates for rent, and their prepackaged products come with instructions on how to heat it up. Call them about out-of-city delivery.
They also cater all different types of events! From Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and weddings to delivering Kosher meals to hotels for guests and even feeding a TV crew.
Their menu features tons of classic Jewish deli items such as corned beef, yapchik, herring, chicken poppers, and even an array of Chinese style dishes! They also sell fresh baked goods, prepackaged salads and dips. They also sell fresh flowers for Shabbos.
