About UN Plaza Grill
For catering inquires and private events, contact Joe Greenblatt at 917 207-5742 or [email protected]
The globally inspired Un Plaza Grill opened in 2017. Across the street from the United Nations, it's just a gorgeous, comfortable, professional restaurant. High ceilings, tiger murals, cushioned leather booths, excellent background music, and of course, the food. With a new Culinary Director, Ines Chattas, and Kenny, the manager, leading the way, you're in good hands.
Ines joined the UN Plaza family in 2021; she is the first Jewish person (and first woman) to be in charge of the restaurant's menu since it opened. She revitalized the menu to make it more contemporary and expand its international influences.
The new menu has a European and Eastern Mediterranean spin to it. It features such dishes as Spiced Kefta Meatballs (tomato-roasted garlic sauce, parsley, cumin, cayenne, cinnamon), Veal Chop Schnitzel (baby arugula, cherry tomatoes, baby cucumber, Kalamata olives, roasted potatoes), Braised Boneless Short Ribs (prunes, red wine, balsamic, mashed potatoes), and Roasted Half Duck, (apricot-lemon zest sauce, herbed couscous).

The sushi offerings now include Nigiri Flight, tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, caramelized teriyaki salmon, and a Sushi Tower, salmon, tuna, avocado, spicy mayo, Teriyaki, sesame. In addition, Ines has devised new sauces for the restaurant's grilled specialties, including rosemary Fuego aioli for the Center Cut Rib Eye, mint pesto for the Lamb Chops, and lemon-tarragon sauce for the Boneless Grilled Chicken.
Decadent desserts include Banana Flambé, Chocolate Soufflé, and Apple Tart. Some specialty drinks include the White Tiger (tequila, simple sugar, fresh lime juice, jalapeño, lime) and the Purple Mojito Rum (simple syrup, mint, fresh lime juice, Concorde float). The space features two private rooms, large dining area, private booths, and can accommodate private dining and events. Their venue caters to UN functions, corporate and social events, all with a professional and dedicated wait-staff by your side. Please, complete the party inquiry form.
