One block off from Lincoln Road, 17 Restaurant & Sushi Bar is a modern bistro with a retro atmosphere in the trendy area of South Beach, Florida. Open in the beginning of 2009, the restaurant is decorated with an Art Deco style architecture and Italian paintings on cream color walls with candles on the tables. The restaurant resides blocks away from Jewish Museum of Florida on 3rd & Washington Avenue, Holocaust Memorial on 19th & Meridian Avenue and Cuban Hebrew Congregation on 17th & Michigan.

17 Restaurant & Sushi Bar has a delightful menu which transcends expectations of traditional Italian cuisine and sushi. A couple of the inventive appetizers to choose from are gravalax and mozzarella fresca. In addition, fried zucchini sticks and fried mozzarella sticks, both served with marinara sauce, are among the classic appetizers. Served with a salad on the side, try any of their wraps and if you are in the mood for pizza, they have several gourmet 10” inch personal pies.

Their reasonably priced menu continues with delicious pasta dishes, such as Fettuccine Alfredo and Portabella Mushroom Ravioli among the favorites. All fish entrees are served with two side dishes with recommendations consisting of Red Snapper Fradiolovo and Tuna Roast. The restaurant also offers a number of Mexican dishes including Cheese Quesadilla and Vegetable Quesadilla, both served with salsa, sour cream and guacamole on the side.

The restaurant also has an extensive sushi menu to satisfy everyone. If you’re looking to experience Southern Florida at its best, they have a wonderful South Beach Roll that consists of imitation crab, cream cheese, avocado, topped with imitation shrimp tempura and Japanese mayo, chili and mock eel sauces.

Their menu can be customized to whatever party or event you may have. They can also provide you with any special need you request. Customized sushi platters, salad bowls, wrap platters, pastas, cookies, desserts, drinks, sushi stations with sushi chef at your party, smoothie bars - anything you may request even it is not in our menu. The restaurant (inside or patio) is also available to host your events.

Abby’s

Abby’s

The evolving Kosher industry in South Florida received a new contender in December of 2025. Abby’s Restaurant & Bar, located in Cooper City, (less than 20 minutes east of Hollywood) jostled its way into the business under the captainship of Moshe Rasier, bringing with it a diverse flavor profile from across the world.

The interior is one thing that draws you in. With a wide-open layout and the bar in the center, the space gives itself the freedom to attract two types of crowds. During the day, it lets customers relax, with the open space giving an air of privacy. At night, the room gets packed full of cool vibes, a lively bar, and the huge TV screen overlooks everything.  It is this concept that bred the tagline “From Sunrise to Last Call: Your Neighborhood Spot for Every Occasion.”

When you look at the menu, it conveys the same freedom as the interior. For breakfast, the Tower and Tower for 2 gives you a selection of items to choose from, and the Mediterranean Shakshuka and French Breakfast are often recommended. For brunch/lunch, you can grab a Halloumi Sandwich or Salmon Poke Bowl to keep it light and filling. People are also talking about the Sweet Potato Tabun as a favorite when they visit. And when it gets time for dinner, favorite appetizers are the Fish Cigars and Arancini, garnering attention alongside mains like the Siciliana Pizza and Chestnut & Mushroom Gnocchi. And, as is the norm with modern cuisine, sushi is available.

It’s not just the food and the space that keeps guests coming back for more. Abby’s has specials and deals running all the time, like their brunch menu all the way until 4 PM, perfect for a late snack before dinner. Then there is their Happy Hour menu, available Sunday-Thursday from 4-7 PM. It’s the ideal time for you to enjoy a nice glass of House Red/White wine, a cocktail, or a cold and refreshing beer. You can also enjoy their food and service when you order from their catering menu.

Moshe initially opened the space, named for his daughter, for himself. He wanted a Kosher option in the area, so he opened one. It quickly evolved into a place for the neighborhood when he saw how appreciative his guests were. He has made customer experience his number one priority; service must be exceptional, nothing less. This is just one of the reasons why Moshe makes Abby and his entire family proud.

Artisanal Kosher comes to Hallandale Beach, FL!

Introducing Alma, kosher dining built around culinary sophistication and ingredient-driven cooking. Open since 2021, Alma was created with the goal of delivering fine dining that feels modern, soulful, and grounded in global flavors.

The name comes from their artisanal charm that they bring to their food with fresh ingredients, and their Avant-Garde approach that embraces innovation and creativity. The two combine into an art form that will keep all your senses engaged.

Alma's location is prime, being within Gulfstream Park and surrounded by other activities like Horse-Racing, Bowling, Karaoke, and a full mall. This makes it the perfect day trip: watch some horse-racing, go bowling, followed by dinner at Alma and then Karaoke or a visit to the Casino to close out the day.

The vibe blends old-school elegance with current details. Dark wood, fall-toned accents, low lighting, leather seating, and a massive top-shelf bar give the room a warm, polished character. Five dining rooms allow the restaurant to maintain intimacy even on busy nights, while outdoor seating and a full calendar of special menus and events keep the atmosphere dynamic.

Chef Samuel Friedman, trained at the Center for Kosher Culinary Arts and a seasoned veteran with more than fifteen years across catering, restaurants, and global culinary projects, brings a bold, boundary-pushing approach to flavor. His influences span Hungarian, Israeli, Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, and Latin cuisines; a reflection of the layered dishes that define the menu.

House specialties include homemade beef jerky in BBQ or smoked teriyaki, brisket tacos with slow-braised beef and fresh garnishes, and a flat-iron steak that showcases the kitchen’s focus on quality ingredients. Signature items such as pepper-crusted oyster steak, crescent steak, and beef back ribs highlight the restaurant’s comfortable luxury philosophy.

At its core, Alma is built on generosity in portions and in spirit. The team emphasizes hospitality, creativity, and a desire to give diners a personal experience. With fixed-price dinners, wine events, catering, and a steady rotation of new culinary concepts, Alma continues to evolve while staying true to its message: refined food, crafted with heart.

Anju Modern Asian is Cedarhurst’s stylish new fusion destination. Brought to you by the same team behind the popular DOMA Land + Sea and Cork & Slice restaurants, Anju Modern Asian, opened right at the end of 2023, is now bringing world-class Asian fusion cuisine and craft cocktails to Long Island.

The kitchen is run by renowned Japanese Chef Tomo Kobayashi, and he uses all his experience to give diners a delicious and satisfying night.

Now open for lunch as well as dinner, Anju offers a daytime menu that focuses on the traditional Japanese Bento Box. A selection of healthy wraps, including Katsu Chicken and Veggie Ponzu, also come with soup, salad, and rice, or go for a bowl: the Seoul Bowl combines bulgogi beef, rice, kimchi, and sesame and comes with edamame, soup, and kani salad.

A nice selection of cold appetizers are available; the Crispy Rock Abi with imitation “shrimp” and gochujang aioli and the pan-fried Wagyu Gyoza are customer favorites. Other fun fusion dishes, including Matzo Ball Ramen Soup and a Pastrami Egg Roll, are available a la carte, as is a wide selection of sushi and sashimi.

At dinner, several of the salads and appetizers from the lunch menu reappear, but some heartier options—including the Salmon Belly Curd with nashi pear and yuzu lemon and the Wagyu bacon Bar Buns—are added to the mix. In addition to sushi and noodle dishes, a compact list of entrees is available; try the Char Grilled Tuna with panko avocado, the schnitzel-style Panko Veal Chop with tonkatsu sauce, the delightfully tender Korean Kalbi Short Ribs, or Chef Kobayashi’s favorite dish, the robata-charred Filet Beef & Broccoli.

An ample selection of fine wines are available to accompany your meal, or order a signature craft concoction like the fruity Fuji Thai Cocktail. Save room for dessert: the Pineapple Pistachio Paradise, featuring vanilla chardonnay-infused pineapple and a yuzu pistachio tuille, is not to be missed.

Annie’s Kitchen

Annie’s Kitchen

718-268-0960

Annie’s Kitchen has been around since the 90s, and in that over 30 years, they’ve had an incredibly loyal clientele. Customers who grew up on their cuisine kept coming back, bringing their children for that same taste they remember from their childhood. One such customer was Eyal Masheev. He loved Annie’s Kitchen as a kid, and he continued to love it as an adult. In 2017, he had the opportunity to take the place over, and he jumped on it. While some changes and updates have been made since then, Annie’s Kitchen is essentially the same place Eyal, and many others, grew up loving.

Like many American Chinese takeout places, Annie’s Kitchen has a simple setup, casual black furniture, red tea lamps hanging from the ceiling, and food photos lining the walls.

The food served in heaping portions with sides of rice is much the same as Eyal remembers. The dishes are dependable; frequent customers don’t have to worry that their favorites won’t be on the menu anymore. The General Tso’s Chicken tastes the same as it did 30 years ago, as does the sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli, beef with broccoli, the egg rolls, etc. basically every popular staple one would expect to find at a modern American Chinese restaurant can be found on the Annie’s Kitchen menu.

Some specialty dishes are unique to Annie’s Kitchen, such as the Shredded Sesame. All sauces are homemade with Annie’s secret recipe. While dependability is the main appeal of Annie’s cuisine, Annie’s has experimented with some new recipes due to popular demand. They’ve created their homemade teriyaki sauce, adding a slew of teriyaki dishes to the menu. Another fun item Annie’s Kitchen offers is their Bento Boxes. They make for great appetizers and are a big seller, particularly for customers who come alone and don’t want to order something a tad smaller than Annie’s appetizers with their aforementioned large portions.

Annie’s Kitchen does a lot of to-go orders, plus pick-up orders, as is typical of a Chinese restaurant. They also cater events with their large party platters, which are perfect for a simple and affordable fleishig party.

Years pass, but Annie’s Kitchen remains the same, which returning customers are pretty happy about. Why mess with a good thing?

Aroma by Nature’s Delight

Aroma by Nature’s Delight

(845) 796-0270

Located in the heart of Monticello, Aroma by Nature's Delight you feel conflicted to tell people about. You want everyone you now to experience it, but you also want it all for yourself. It has a warm environment not unlike being invited into someone's house, except if that someone also served you food worthy of a food magazine.

Their menu stays with a comfortable rhythm while also including a touch of creativity. For example, the Belgian Waffles are crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and maintains the right level of sweetness to not overwhelm. Then there's the sourdough pizza; it can be topped with fresh vegetables like Broccoli or Cauliflower, the type of inclusion that strikes the right balance with the carbs.

Some places overlook the salads, but not at Aroma. The Greek Salad with za'tar dressing is one keynote item, and the quinoa and sweet potato salad is filling, but keeps you energized instead of tired.

And of course, you can't overlook dessert. their New York-style Cheesecake is the type of item that has you thinking about you next visit, as their molten chocolate souffle.

And being in the Catskills, one thing that you always want to see is outdoor seating. Aroma has a beautful seating area outside that has the vibe of a comfortable cafe.

Aroma Gourmet was established in Panama City in the year 2014 in the Paitilla Mall, and they work to combine fresh and vibrant ingredients to bring you Israeli Cuisine.

Art of Prime

Art of Prime

(718) 940-9454

Located on Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn, Art of Prime opened at the end of April 2025 offering a tightly curated take on kosher steakhouse dining. The restaurant positions itself with a focus on classic food and restaurant principles, by serving food with the freshest ingredients, premium level service, and a modern but still upscale aesthetic.

The interior leans toward understated elegance: dim lighting and muted tones. It’s a space designed more for measured conversation than being flashy. This approach mirrors the menu—structured and deliberate, not over complicated.

Starters like the crispy eggplant salad and tabbouleh demonstrate pop out with a balance of texture and acidity, while the mezze platter, consisting of a spread of hummus, baba ganoush (two ways), roasted red pepper, and olives, anchors the Middle Eastern influence without overextending.

Steak is, of course, central. Cuts are prepared precisely, and the restaurant avoids over-complication to the point of losing the plot. The other mains also standout, like the braised beef tongue, a dish that could easily veer into either nostalgia or novelty but instead lands somewhere more purposeful. It is elevated by a mustard finish and olive crumble that add structure and clarity. And their piece de resistance, Beef Wellington, tender beef wrapped in golden puff pastry with spinach and mushroom duxelles, finished with a rich demi glace. This dish is not typical for a kosher steakhouse but Art of Grill has mastered this upscale dish and made it available for the kosher consumer.

Opened in October of 2021, Asiatiko Robata Bar is a stunning feast for all your senses, featuring Japanese robata and sushi dishes, pan-Asian salads and appetizers, and a knock-your-socks-off cocktail menu that takes you on a tour across the Asian continent. Robata, short for “robatayaki”, refers to a traditional Japanese barbecue-style cooking method in which items are cooked at varying speeds over hot charcoal.
Start off with a Thai Salad with ginger lemongrass dressing, Toro (tuna belly) Tartar with quail egg, Brussels Sprouts with soy glaze and yuzu, or Wagyu Sliders with truffle yuzu ranch and crispy potato. Then dive into the robata menu, which features, among other favorites, Miso Japanese Eggplant, Chicken Yakitori, Korean BBQ Cashew Ribs, and Smoked Wagyu Brisket.
There’s even the Asiatiko Burger, an inspired creation of prime ground beef, bok choy, truffle black garlic mayo, crispy wonton, and shishito pepper.
There are of course fish dishes, like the Grilled Branzino with shiso chimichurri or the Matsu Style Miso Sea Bass, as well as the legendary Peking Duck, served with sesame crepes.
The sushi bar offers classics like Spicy Tuna, California, or Hamachi rolls; more adventurous creations like the Truffle Sake Roll with torched truffle salmon or the Curry Maguro (bluefin) with tahini and curry sauce; several vegetarian options including the Seared Avocado roll with yuzu ponzu; and an excellent selection of sashimi and nigiri.
The cocktails at Asiatiko are inspired by the entire continent of Asia: savor the flavors of Sri Lanka with the Precious Isle, combining Drambuie, chamomile, lime, JW Black Label, and Ceylon tea, or take a trip to Malaysia with the Petronas Towers, a delicious mix of mango, curry, lime, lychee, rose, and Japanese rum.
Everything at Asiatiko is not only big on flavor, but also served in a stunning visual presentation that will have you oohing and ahhing before you even take the first bite — don’t forget your camera!

For those looking for a unique dining experience in Aventura, Azumare is a must-visit. First opened at the end of 2024 by Hari Benzaquen, the restaurant blends Asian and Latin flavors into a compelling and one-of-a-kind concept.

Azumare was born from the opportunity to bring something new and exciting to the Kosher dining scene in Miami. Hari’s ultimate goal is to create a place where people can enjoy creative and innovative Asian/Latin fusion cuisine. That, along with a passion for food and giving customers a unique experience drives Azumare forward.

When you enter the Azumare space, the fusion is evident. Deep navy blues and cobalt glass accents play against warm reclaimed wood and a breathtaking cherry blossom centerpiece, creating an interior that feels intimate and refined. Located in the Waterways, filled with restaurants, you can go to enjoy a meal inside or outside, and even walk along the water with that special someone. Sitting inside gives you access to their long bar at the back of the restaurants, where you can even enjoy a nice sports game with your meal.

The menu is at the heart of the restaurant. For starters, the Trio Ceviche is a popular option, alongside their sushi bar. Steak lovers will find plenty to enjoy, with the Lomo Saltado and the Ribeye offering bold, satisfying options alongside Asian-inspired preparations. The El Parguito, a whole fried red snapper, bridges both culinary traditions beautifully, and the Arroz Chaufa, a stir fried rice with vegetables, makes for a flavorful and hearty main course. When you get the sweet ending, people are absolutely loving the Suspiro Limeno.
